5-Year Warranty Declaration
1. General Information
Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG, Meelbaumstraße 5, 30165 Hannover, grants a 5-year warranty for this product under the following conditions. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this warranty and are not limited by it. No warranty is granted for devices used in a commercial catering business.
2. Eligibility for Claims Under the Warranty
Warranty claims are available to you as the buyer. The 5-year warranty begins on the date the goods are handed over to you.
3. Warranty Case
Your first point of contact in the event of a warranty claim is us, Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG, even if a manufacturer's warranty is mentioned. If a manufacturer's warranty exists in addition to the warranty described above, the manufacturer is primarily liable. Therefore, the manufacturer's warranty must be claimed first. If you have a warranty claim, please notify Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG immediately. Then, please bring/send the product to us with all original documents (receipt/invoice with date, manufacturer's warranty papers if applicable). Please send us a problem report. Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG will organize the processing of your warranty case. The damage will be repaired either by the manufacturer or an authorized customer service with a specialized workshop appointed by Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG. If, after approval of the repair by Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG, you have commissioned a specialized workshop named by us to carry out the repair, please send us the original repair invoice no later than two months after the repair is completed. You must retain the replaced parts until the warranty case has been fully resolved and confirmed by Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG.
4. Geographical Scope
The geographical scope of this warranty is limited to the Federal Republic of Germany.
5. Scope of the Warranty
The warranty covers all defects that limit the functionality of the sold device and are attributable to design, manufacturing, or material defects. In the event of a warranty claim, Helmut Staude GmbH & Co. KG will cover the necessary material, labor, and travel costs to restore the functionality of the sold device. However, only the industry-standard rates for labor, replacement parts, and mileage will be compensated. If the manufacturer recalls a device due to a defect, the costs incurred are not part of the warranty. If it is economically unreasonable to repair a device because the repair costs exceed the current value of the device, we are entitled to pay a proportional compensation. This compensation amounts to 100% of the purchase price in the first two years after delivery, 75% in the third year, 60% in the fourth year, and 45% in the fifth year after delivery of the device.
6. Exclusion of the Warranty
The warranty does not cover light bulbs or damages/defects caused by improper operation of the device. Personal injuries, consequential damages, or damages occurring outside the device are also not covered by this warranty.
7. Expiration of the Warranty
The entire warranty claim expires if repairs or modifications to the device are carried out by persons who are not authorized by the manufacturer of the device. The same applies if the device is equipped with parts, accessories, or replacement parts that have not been approved by the manufacturer of the device.
8. Applicable Law
German law applies to claims under the warranty.
