Easy Cleaning for Lasting Hygiene
Flip open, wipe, and it’s clean. The collection tray, made from high-quality stainless steel, is incredibly easy to clean and can be completely removed if needed. Our tip: After cooking, wipe down the hood along with the stovetop for even easier cleaning, as the collected grease is still easy to remove. However, you can also wait for a few cooking sessions. The smooth stainless steel surface still allows for easy cleaning later on.
Big on Recirculation Mode
A high-quality recirculation filter is essential for effective odor absorption in recirculation mode. berbel recirculation filters have an exceptionally large volume and are filled with up to 4 kg of activated charcoal. This provides an odor absorption efficiency of 97% (according to DIN EN 61591), which is almost equivalent to an extractor hood in exhaust mode. The activated charcoal filters last particularly long, around 2-3 years. To replace the saturated activated charcoal over time, berbel offers an eco-friendly refill pack. The filter housing remains intact, only the activated charcoal is replaced, which is both environmentally friendly and budget-conscious. For even more convenience, we recommend the regenerative permalyt® recirculation filter – it cleans itself through a thermocatalytic process and is TÜV Rheinland certified for lifetime durability and consistent filter performance.

Clogged grease filters and grease deposits in ducts can form a highly flammable residue. In the event of a stovetop fire, conventional grease filters can act as fire accelerants. berbel ensures maximum fire safety by eliminating the need for conventional grease filters, thus removing the fire risk. Additionally, berbel hoods are made from non-flammable stainless steel. The exhaust ducts are made from cadmium-free, impact-resistant plastic that is self-extinguishing. Our products have been thoroughly tested by the Wilhelm-Jost Institute and hhw Ingenieurgesellschaft. The result: berbel extractor hoods meet the highest safety standards for private kitchens.
