What is B-stock?

If a device is not perfect, it is referred to as B-stock. It does not matter whether the product itself has a defect or just the packaging is damaged. If it no longer meets the quality criteria of "new", the item is referred to as B-stock. This includes, for example, a refrigerator with paint damage or a dishwasher with a dent.

In addition to damage to the goods, it could also simply be that I don't like the product. Unfortunately, I only noticed this after I unpacked it. Or the goods are not suitable for the intended use.
