The spooky season is here. 🎃 And for the fright fest, we naturally want spooky Halloween recipes for baking, cooking, and "bloody" drinks. We’ve tried out some Halloween ideas and put them together for you.
Spooky Finger Food 😱
This Halloween finger food is literally finger food. We’re talking about Halloween sausages, which we transform into bloody fingers with almonds and ketchup.

What you need for spooky sausage fingers:
- Sausages
- Almonds
- Ketchup
- Oven
How to prepare the Halloween finger food:
Simply cook the sausages in a pot, cut them in half, and shape a nail bed at the top. Insert almond slivers for the fingernails and generously spread ketchup on the plate as blood. Done!
Creepy Cookies 💀
Next, we have creepy cookies, also known as Halloween cookies. All you need is a simple cookie dough and Halloween cookie cutters, such as ghosts, pumpkins, witch hats, and more.

What you need for around 40 Halloween cookies:
- 125 g cold butter
- 200 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg
- Icing
- Black drip or edible food pen
- Halloween cookie cutters
- Oven
How to prepare the creepy cookies:
Knead all ingredients into a smooth cookie dough, roll it out, cut out shapes, and bake in the oven at around 200 °C (top and bottom heat) for about 8-10 minutes. Let them cool, then decorate with icing, drip, or edible food pens with Halloween designs.
Spiderweb Pancakes 🕸️
This Halloween dish is a bit tricky but all the more creative! Pancakes in the shape of spiderwebs.

What you need for around 7 spiderweb pancakes:
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml milk
- 200 g flour
- 1 pinch of salt, 1 pinch of sugar
- Pan
- Optional: edible spiders
How to make the spiderweb in the pan:
Mix the ingredients into a smooth pancake batter and heat oil in a pan. Now, skill and a steady hand are required: Use the batter to form a spiderweb in the pan, let it cook briefly, then flip it and cook until the pancake is golden brown.
Boo-Schetta 👻
Boo-schetta is the Halloween food version of bruschetta. With plenty of garlic to ward off vampires, tomatoes, and a mozzarella ghost.

What you need for the Halloween bruschetta:
- 8 slices of ciabatta bread
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Basil
- Mozzarella slices
- Ghost-shaped cookie cutters
How to prepare the Italian antipasti for Halloween:
Cut the ciabatta bread, drizzle with olive oil, and bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes. After baking, rub with garlic. Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes and cut them into cubes. Mix with salt, pepper, and basil. Slice the mozzarella and use a Halloween cutter to shape it into ghosts, then draw eyes and a mouth with balsamic vinegar (or something similar). Top the bread slices with the tomato mixture and mozzarella.
Bloody Cherry 🧛
Finally, we present a simple Halloween drink: The Bloody Cherry. Bright red cherry juice that you can enhance (or intensify) to your liking.

What you need for the vampire drink:
- 200 ml cherry juice
- Ice cubes to taste
- Cherries for garnish
How to prepare the Bloody Cherry:
Simply pour the cherry juice into a glass and garnish with cherries. If desired, you can dilute the mocktail with some sparkling water or strengthen it with alcohol.
