2024 is all about color. The hottest interior design style is Dopamine Decor, which combines various vibrant trend colors (orange with blue, yellow with pink, green with violet) into a wild yet harmonious whole. In contrast, timeless colors are also popular: primarily light shades like white and gray, but also earthy browns and black. Metallic colors (silver, gold, bronze) are used to add elegant accents.
Appliance Trends for 2024
In the kitchen of 2024, technological features are primarily one thing: smart. Kitchen appliances with artificial intelligence take over (not entirely yet) the cooking and baking process and assist with appliance maintenance and troubleshooting when something goes wrong. Controls are no longer manual but are done via smartphone or voice commands.
Popular Styles for 2024
Sustainable and recyclable materials, curvy shapes, and a colorful mix are three keywords that describe style and design in the kitchen of 2024. Individuality and personal expression are also key this year. The more sustainable and unique, the better! This is exactly what the brand Neff had in mind when they introduced the new Flex Concept in the fall of 2023, allowing users to, among other things, swap out the side panels in different colors.

White
After the past years were dominated by dark tones, the trend now shifts to the purest and brightest color: white. White kitchen appliances, white kitchens, and white kitchen accessories are trends in the kitchen for 2024.
Deep Black or Matte Black
If it gets dark again, then it’s really dark! Deep Black is the new black. Matte, subtle, and understated. Just like the Miele KMDA 7876 FL in the new matte finish color.

Artificial Intelligence in the Kitchen
Artificial intelligence in the kitchen assists us with cooking. For example, it knows the best settings or synchronizes multiple devices to ensure dishes are ready at the same time (e.g., MealSync by Miele).
AI Diagnostics
The motto of Miele AI Diagnostics is "help for self-help." The artificial intelligence helps detect and resolve issues and errors with the device. If no suitable solution is found, you can always contact customer service directly.
Kitchen Appliances with Gesture & Voice Control
In 2024, many kitchen appliances feature gesture and voice control. Kitchen devices can be connected to voice assistants like Google Assistant or Alexa via WLAN, and controlled with voice commands. A popular feature is the kitchen lighting with gesture control, which we can find in the new Novy Lights. With a swipe gesture, the light intensity and color can be adjusted. Similar functionality is promised by the new BORA lighting (Horizon & Stars), which will be released in fall 2024.

In 2024, we want more individuality in the kitchen. It should become more personal.
Neff Flex Design
More flexibility is promised by Neff's Flex Design. Side panels and handles can be exchanged on devices from the new Neff Collection and are available in current trend colors (e.g., in Brushed Bronze).
Your Quooker Tap
Quooker also excels in offering various colors, designs, and functions. Your Quooker tap can be classic (e.g., in stainless steel), very modern (e.g., in black), or elegantly shiny (e.g., in gold). Additionally, the faucet comes in round or square designs (at least some models like the Quooker Fusion). And of course, its function: it dispenses cold, warm, and boiling hot water. If you also add the Quooker Cube, you'll get sparkling water directly from the tap.
Liebherr MyStyle
A refrigerator that can be chosen in any style – even in leopard print. This is made possible with Liebherr MyStyle. Bosch also allows you to customize the fridge front color with the VarioStyle refrigerator.
The Oven 2024
The 2024 oven is equipped with AI and additional automatic programs, allowing it to bake almost autonomously. Of course, it also features an oven camera that interacts with social media.

The Siemens oven from the studioLine features a browning sensor and artificial intelligence, making baking much easier and more convenient.
Miele Smart Food ID Oven
We are already familiar with the Miele Foodview oven camera. New in 2024 is the Miele Smart Food ID feature. This allows the oven camera to recognize the dish and its ingredients, and then suggests the best cooking settings. Another feature: Smart Food ID sends high-resolution images from the oven directly to social media.
The Cooktop 2024
The cooktop 2024 allows us to control the exact temperature. Additionally, it is scratch-resistant and easy to clean.
Miele DiamondFinish: Extra Hard Induction Cooktop
As elegant as a diamond and just as hard and scratch-resistant – new Miele induction cooktops with DiamondFinish feature one of the hardest surfaces on the market, being twice as hard as traditional glass-ceramic cooktops.
Gaggenau Fully Integrated Induction: Cooking Directly on the Countertop
No visible cooktop, no burner, no glass-ceramic, or similar. The latest trend: cooking directly on the countertop, such as the fully integrated induction from Gaggenau.
The Dishwasher 2024
The 2024 dishwasher offers more space and, above all, more flexible baskets for washing.
Miele StrawClean
In 2024, there are new features and washing programs for Miele dishwashers. For example, Miele StrawClean for reusable drinking straws and new efficient ECO wash cycles.
The Fridge 2024
The fridge 2024 can be opened smartly using voice commands.
Miele ActiveDoor
The Miele ActiveDoor fridge responds to voice commands or a light tap on the appliance door. It opens and closes with these smart commands.
Siemens openAssist
Similarly, the Siemens openAssist fridge can be conveniently opened by voice command when you literally have your hands full. A smart WLAN connection is required for this feature.
