Oven with Camera & AI: Siemens iQ700

In 2022, Miele introduced the Foodview, a heat-resistant camera inside the oven. In 2023, this monitoring feature becomes even smarter with Smart Food ID. The oven camera now sends high-resolution images from inside the oven directly to social media.

Siemens has also caught up by equipping the iQ700 oven with a camera. The new Siemens oven from the studioLine series also features a browning sensor and artificial intelligence, making baking significantly easier and more convenient.

Steam Oven with Self-Cleaning: Miele HydroClean

Another oven trend in 2023 is steam ovens. Cooking with steam offers many advantages, and these benefits are even more appreciated this year. A new feature is "Steam Cooking Plus," where steam ovens now come with extra power, preparing dishes faster and more gently with added steam. With the Miele DGC HydroClean steam oven, manual cleaning is no longer required. Using a mixture of HydroCleaner and water, the steam oven cleans itself automatically, similar to an oven with pyrolysis.

Smeg steam ovens achieve even better baking results in 2023, thanks to Galileo Omnichef technology and multi-cooking features. More than 150 automatic programs perfectly cook dishes like juicy pot roasts, casseroles, and sourdough bread. We are particularly impressed with the Smeg Dolce Stil Novo oven with Galileo multi-cooking. With its elegant copper trim, it perfectly complements the 2023 kitchen trend in metallic style.

The elegant Siemens GlassdraftAir glass downdraft is as discreet as a downdraft can be. Thanks to the glass surface, you have an unobstructed view while cooking. Additionally, ambient lighting (which can be adjusted to different colors) creates stylish highlights. After cooking, the Siemens downdraft quietly retracts into its niche beneath the countertop.

Designer Range Hood in Glass: Novy Phantom

In contrast to subtlety, this Novy range hood stands out. The Novy Phantom is a true eye-catcher. Made from light-transmitting glass, the designer hood elegantly floats above the cooktop on the ceiling.

Of course, there will also be a new Miele KMDA in 2023. More precisely, the KMDA 7272 and KMDA 7473 with elegantly rounded cooktop extractors. On top of that, the motor of the new additions is particularly quiet (keyword: Silence).

The award in the Best Energy Consumption 2023 category definitely goes to the Miele AutoDos dishwashers. Almost all G7000 series dishwashers with Autodos have the best energy saving class A. The dosing system itself has also been improved. For lightly soiled dishes, the amount of powder granulate can be reduced in order to save detergent. In addition, the PowerDisk container is now made of post-consumer recycled material (PCR). A granulate made from recycled plastic.

A Siemens iQ700 dishwasher also scores points in terms of energy efficiency. Intelligent sensors adjust each wash cycle for optimal energy and water consumption. The dishwashers also have zeolite drying technology. Thanks to the natural material, the moisture is optimally absorbed and released as heat energy. This also saves energy when washing dishes.

In 2023, Miele will be offering an innovative technology inside the refrigerator: To protect quality and vitamins, Miele has equipped the K 7000 and K 4000 refrigerators with a fine cold mist. This is applied to the contents of the drawer and provides that certain kick of freshness. Every time the door is opened and every 90 minutes, Miele PerfectFresh Active releases the fine spray mist from the water tank above it directly into the fruit and vegetable drawer in the refrigerator.

The Siemens studioLine 2023 refrigerators promise easy handling. The new Siemens refrigerator from the iQ700 series opens automatically without touching it. The "openAssist" function makes it possible. So if you have your hands full, you can open the refrigerator using just your voice. Of course, a smart connection to your home Wi-Fi is necessary.

New retro refrigerator: Smeg special editions

An absolute visual highlight in the kitchen 2023 is of course presented to us by our Italian design brand. Smeg shows us once again how beautiful Italian design looks in the kitchen.
