Trend #1: AI in the Miele Kitchen
The kitchen trend we already encountered in 2024 is becoming even more prominent in 2025: AI (artificial intelligence). Baking and cooking are now more automated, simpler, and, to put it bluntly, less human. The appliances take over the majority of kitchen tasks, from determining the best cooking settings and temperature to notifying you when your food is ready. One might say that humans are now more like assistants. Look for it under the term: Miele Smart Food ID.
Trend #2: Smart Miele Appliances
In 2025, kitchen appliances are smart! They are often no longer operated directly via the appliance display but increasingly through smartphone apps or voice commands. New Miele appliances can be controlled using the Miele app. With AI Diagnostics, you can get self-help for troubleshooting, find recipe inspiration, or monitor energy consumption.
Trend #3: Sustainable Miele Kitchen
Sustainability in the kitchen remains a significant trend. Miele appliances often feature top energy efficiency ratings and economical eco programs. But that’s not all. In the Miele app, the latest models also allow you to track actual consumption, showing how much energy and water is being used.
New Color: Miele Pearl Beige
Starting January 2025, Miele introduces a new color: Pearl Beige. A delicate, elegant beige-gray with a high-gloss finish. Available for handleless built-in appliances such as ovens, coffee machines, wine coolers, warming and vacuum drawers, as well as range hoods.
New Miele Range Hood: Design Surface with Eye-Catching Effect
Miele now offers new wall-mounted range hoods with an eye-catching effect. The hood canopy is available in two new finishes: concrete look and patina bronze look.

In 2025, we’re excited about new Miele kitchen helpers, including the new Miele Gourmet Boxes for the fridge and the Miele cookware set for downdraft ventilation.
Miele Gourmet Boxes
Keep your food well-organized and in sight with the new Miele Gourmet Boxes. These smart fridge organizers are made of borosilicate glass with clip-on lids. The highlight: a QR code on the lid allows you to organize the contents digitally.

Miele Cookware Set for Downdraft Ventilation
Starting December 2024, we can look forward to matching Miele cookware for the downdraft ventilation! The new cookware set features a side steam outlet that directs cooking steam directly to the downdraft vent. Made from high-quality stainless steel, the new Miele pots come with glass lids and a super-thermal 3-layer sandwich base for optimal heat distribution.
Miele New Arrival 2025: Downdraft Ventilation in Two Finishes
Since 2024, the popular Miele KMDA downdraft ventilation has been available in several finishes. Two special options are the Miele MattFinish and Miele BlackPerfection cooktops.
Miele KMDA MattFinish
The Miele MattFinish cooktop features a special surface that has an anti-fingerprint effect and is highly resistant to scratches. An example of the MattFinish is the Miele KMDA 7876 FL downdraft ventilation, which won the iF Design Award 2023 for its design.
Miele KMDA BlackPerfection
All black: That’s the Miele BlackPerfection cooktop. For example, the Miele KMDA 7676 FL (awarded the iF Design Award 2024). In addition to its glossy black surface, the cooktop also impresses with the SilenceMotor, 2 PowerFlex XL zones, and flexible installation with guided recirculated air.
