Installing or Retrofitting a Quooker: A Step-by-Step Guide
This is how you can retrofit a Quooker - a step-by-step guide with videos in the Mykitchens Magazine.
Reading time: approx. 2 minutes
Our tip for anyone looking to modernize their kitchen: The Quooker tap. It can be easily and quickly installed into an existing kitchen and provides a variety of water functions: cold, warm, boiling hot, and sparkling cold water. Food preparation becomes easier, while the Quooker system also ensures more organization at the sink. Here at Mykitchens Magazine, we have a step-by-step guide with videos showing how to easily retrofit the boiling water tap system from Quooker.
How much space does the Quooker system require?
The Quooker system consists of a faucet and a boiling water reservoir (depending on the water connection). Optionally, there is also the CUBE with a CO₂ cylinder for chilled sparkling water and still water, as well as accessories for further enhancements (e.g., filters, soap dispensers, ...).
The Quooker reservoirs come in different sizes but all fit into a 60 cm base cabinet – even with a waste separation system, e.g. next to the integrated Naber waste systems.
For proper ventilation, additional space behind the reservoir is required. A 20x20 cm opening in the back wall or base plate is also recommended to allow warm air to escape.

Installing or Retrofitting a Quooker: Step-by-Step Guide
But how exactly can a Quooker be retrofitted into a kitchen that already has a faucet? We explain it with an easy step-by-step guide using text and videos.

1. Planning and Preparation
The first step is planning and preparation. Do you want just a boiling water tap, or should the Quooker also provide sparkling water? How much space is available under the sink? What type of water connection is available?

Quooker PRO3 Reservoir
The Quooker PRO3 reservoir is for a hot water line and delivers 3 liters of water. The Quooker PRO3 is 46.7 cm high and 15.3 cm wide.

Quooker COMBI Reservoir
The Quooker COMBI reservoir replaces the instantaneous water heater or boiler, and the COMBI+ can be connected to either a hot or cold water line. The Quooker COMBI (+) is 49 cm high and 20 cm wide.

Quooker Cube
Quooker CUBE is the addition for cold sparkling water and is a reservoir with a CO2 cylinder. The Quooker CUBE is 50 cm high and 22.3 cm wide.
2. Select the Faucet and Accessories
The second step is selecting the model and accessories. The Quooker is available in various shapes and colors. There is also compatible accessories, such as soap dispensers, filters, or suitable waste separation systems.
3. Installing the Quooker
Now it’s time for installation. You can install the Quooker yourself or have the assembly done by a professional. The faucet system does not require new connections; only a power outlet is needed. If you want to connect the reservoir, Cube, and, for example, a dishwasher to a power outlet, you can easily do this with the Quooker load switch. However, you may need to enlarge or reduce the space for the faucet if the dimensions differ from the old kitchen faucet.
By the way, the Quooker doesn't always have to be installed under the sink. Extensions offer additional installation options.
4. Test and Enjoy
Finally, the new Quooker just needs to be tested and tried out. Does everything work? Does the faucet deliver all the desired water functions? Once everything is correctly installed, you can enjoy the Quooker faucet with all its features.
About the Quooker Brand
