Siemens diamondProtect is a special CERAN® surface with a scratch-resistant coating. It is as hard as diamonds and approximately three times harder than classic Siemens glass-ceramic cooktops. It makes the cooktop scratch-resistant, robust, and durable. The Siemens diamondProtect cooktop is also easy to clean.
A similar coating can also be found on the Miele Diamond cooktop.

How the Siemens Frying Sensor Works
Instead of a power level, the Siemens cooktop with Frying Sensor Plus sets the exact temperature. Similar to an oven. There are a total of 11 temperature levels between 70 and 220 °C. The Siemens Frying Sensor constantly monitors the precise temperature and can therefore prevent food from burning.

The Siemens ED870HWC1E is an iQ500 cooktop with diamondProtect, which received the German Design Award 2024. Its 80 cm width and 5 cooking zones allow for safe and easy cooking.
EX800NX68E Induction Cooktop with Integrated Extractor
The Siemens EX800NX68E is an iQ700 cooktop with diamondProtect. Its 80 cm width and four cooking zones allow for safe and easy cooking. It is also equipped with a modern intake cooktop extractor.
