Cooktops with integrated extractor hoods are becoming increasingly popular. What used to be a real rarity on the kitchen appliance market is now an essential part of the range. Well-known manufacturers such as Siemens, Miele and Neff offer several models of cooktops with extractor hoods. A few brands concentrate entirely on cooktop extractors. For example, the BORA cooktops. We compare the best cooktops with extractors in our cooktop extractor hood test.

BORA X Pure
Bora X Pure is a modern hob from the German innovation brand for hob extractors. The induction hob has a round, centrally positioned extractor and is therefore very similar to its predecessor, the Bora Pure. However, the new model has improved the extraction performance even further. A modern design was also used. The control panel appears in a modern white and can be controlled via touch.

- Dimensions: 80 cm
- Operation: vertical slider (touch)
- Functions: surface induction, pot detection, lighting effects, automatic after-run, ...
- Extractor shape: round
- Energy efficiency class: B
- Operating mode: exhaust air or recirculation

Siemens inductionAir Plus
The InductionAir Plus is definitely one of Siemens' popular and modern cooktops (named the best cooktop with integrated extractor hood by Stiftung Warentest in March 2022). The cooktop extractor hood from the Siemens studioLine came onto the market in spring 2020 and has a practical flex induction, where two of four cooking zones can be connected together. Each pot is heated evenly. It doesn't matter whether it has a round or square shape, as is often the case with large roasting pans.
Other features include the roasting and cooking sensor, a power booster for quick heating, Home Connect and Vario Motion, a technology that saves the heating settings of the pots and takes them with you wherever the pot is moved on the cooking surface.

- Dimensions: 70 and 80 cm
- Operation: dual LightSlider (touch)
- Functions: Flex induction, Home Connect, VarioMotion, Power Booster, cooking sensors, ...
- Extractor shape: square

- Operating mode: exhaust air or recirculation

Miele KMDA
Miele cooktop extractors can be recognized on "paper" by the name KMDA. The induction hob with integrated extractor hood is available in two versions: flush (FL) or with a stainless steel frame (FR). There are now various models that differ mainly in the design (and function) of the extractor.
New models are particularly quiet and available with guided recirculation.

Novy Panorama
The giant among the cooktop extractors in our cooktop extractor test is the Novy Panorama. At 90 cm wide, it is the largest cooktop in our comparison. Its shape also sets it apart from the competition. The Novy cooktop has a retractable extractor that is attached to the rear surface. When not in use, it disappears invisibly into the cooktop. However, this should be taken into account when planning and installing (to save space in the base cabinet). However, this feature is also particularly practical: the extraction is height-adjustable from 10 to 30 cm.
Another difference is that instead of four cooking zones, there are only three cooking zones. Left, right and in the middle. For flexible cooking, there is also a bridge function here, where the surfaces can be connected together, e.g. for a grill plate on the induction hob.

- Dimensions: 90 cm
- Operation: Touch
- Functions: bridge function, flush, residual heat indicator, pot detection ...
- Extractor shape: square, lowerable & height adjustable
- Energy efficiency class: B
- Operating mode: recirculation
- Models: Power 1831, Power 1841, Pro 1821
Berbel Downline
Extractor hood specialist berbel also impresses with its cooktops with extractors using the unique berbel principle. The berbel Downline absorbs odors using centrifugal force - without a grease filter. You can choose between the entry-level model Downline Compact and the premium cooktop Downline Power.

- Dimensions: 80 cm
- Operation: Touch (white); Powermover (cooktop extractor)
- Functions: Home Connect, Flex induction, Booster, berbel principle without grease filter ...

ZoneFlex recognizes pots and other cookware based on their size and position. And the Longlife Plus filter lasts up to three years.
